Technical support

The most common issues are resolved below. If the question remains, the contact form is at the end of the page.

It might already be solved.

The dashboard is unreachable after activating the plugin

If the custom login URL module is active, the entry address has changed and the previous one returns a 404 by design. The new address must be used. If it cannot be recalled, the plugin can be deactivated over FTP by renaming its folder in wp-content/plugins, which restores access at /wp-login.php.

A scan has flagged a file as suspicious

The scan history holds the detail of the detection. If the file is your own or belongs to a trusted component, it can be marked as allowed. If it is not recognised, the correct step is to isolate it and, for WordPress core files, restore them from the official package.

Is there any conflict with caching or performance plugins?

It should not occur: the plugin does not run analysis on every page load, nor does it maintain data structures that grow without limit. If an anomaly is observed, stating the caching plugin and hosting type in the form allows it to be reproduced.

How should a bug be reported?

Describe the expected behaviour, the observed behaviour and the steps to reproduce it, and include the WordPress and PHP versions (the form asks for both). That information shortens resolution time considerably.

The licence needs to move to another site

On the site where it will no longer be used: WP Secure → Account → Deactivate License. The licence is then free to activate on the new one.

The licence key cannot be found

It arrives in the purchase email. It is also in the customer account, and the plugin's activation screen has a Can't find your license key? link that sends it again.

Can help be requested from inside the plugin?

Yes. WP Secure → Contact Us opens a support form without leaving WordPress.

Contact form.

Only the details that help resolve the issue are requested. Replies are sent by email.
